The dog days appear to be behind us. We finally broke that 100 degree streak and are enjoying the 90's. Jenny has moved on as well. She is now "Sandy" in her happy new home with the Mirandas. I am reminded as the season changes of the way we change when we make Christ our LORD.
Ephesians 4:21-24 if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him, just as truth is in Jesus, that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.
Oh, and how we need Him to help us make these changes. To let go of selfishness, impatience, envy, and strife and to walk in the spirit of kindness and gratitude. When I fall short His grace covers me and I start again. As the old leaves fall off of the tree and the new ones will come in the spring, so too my old ways are laid aside, and His beautiful ways will come through. And every year we will do it again until finally I will shine like gold on that last day. Praise God!
I am passionately seeking ways to not only improve my health - body, mind and soul - but also seeking ways to help others live a life of wellness. I have 15 years of experience as a health care provider, and I have seen that what we consume and how we use our time directly affect the quality of our health. I continually draw on valid research to improve physical health, overall wellness and longevity. Let me do the research, that you may experience the blessings of good life!
